Morpho Browser

Getting started with Morpho Browser

Install the app, create your account, let the engines download and open your first profile.

1. Install the app

Download the installer from the download page and run it. It installs for your Windows user only, so no administrator rights are needed. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning because the installer isn't code-signed yet: click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.

2. Create your account and sign in

Morpho Browser needs a free morphobrowser.com account. Sign up on this website, open the link in the verification e-mail, then sign in to the app with the same e-mail address and password. Your password never leaves your computer.

3. Let the engines download

On first start the app downloads its two browser engines, Chromium and Firefox (a few hundred MB). Each download is checked before it is installed, and you only wait once.

4. Create your first profile

  1. Click “New profile”.
  2. Choose the engine. Chromium is the default, and the engine can't be changed later.
  3. Paste a proxy, or leave the field empty to use your own connection.
  4. Leave time zone, language and location on Auto: they follow the proxy's exit IP.
  5. Save, then start the profile. It opens as its own browser window.

5. Where your data lives

Profiles are stored in Morpho Browser's data folder on your PC, outside the program folder, so updating or reinstalling never touches them. The free plan includes 5 profiles.

6. Updates

The app checks for updates and installs them on the next start. Every update is signed and verified first, and a failed update is rolled back automatically.
